Lexington County School District Three proudly announces commencement ceremony plans for the Batesburg-Leesville High School Class of 2024.
The ceremony will take place this Friday, May 24th beginning at 7 pm in the beautiful new Batesburg-Leesville High School competition gymnasium. Admission into the gym is by ticket-only. Please note that the doors of the gymnasium will be promptly locked at 6:55 pm in order to ensure that everyone is seated when graduates process into the gym. All other spectators are invited to watch the ceremony via livestream in the Lexington Three Fine Arts Center. The event will also be streamed on Lexington Three's YouTube channel.
Graduation is an important event in the lives of Batesburg-Leesville’s young people. In order to ensure that each student has a moment to remember, Lexington Three has implemented guidelines to help maintain an orderly and dignified graduation ceremony.
--Security will be handled by uniformed police officers.
--Unsolicited applause, catcalls, whistles, or any other form of noise during the ceremony is inappropriate and will not be tolerated. Spectators who engage in such behavior will be removed from the ceremony by uniformed police officers.
--No air horns, cowbells, sirens, or other noisemakers will be allowed in the gymnasium.
--Spectators may take pictures and/or videos from their seats but should not hinder the sight of other spectators.
