Lexington County School District Three is pleased to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Batesburg-Leesville High School Class of 2024.
Cocoro Alee'a Moore is this year's Valedictorian. Cocoro is graduating with a GPA of 5.354. While at B-L High School, she completed 45 total courses to include 20 Dual Enrollment college courses, 1 Advanced Placement course and 11 Honors courses.
Taylor Grace Smith is this year's Salutatorian. Taylor is graduating from B-L High School with a GPA of 5.314. During her high school tenure, she completed 45 total courses including 21 Dual Enrollment college courses, 1 Advanced Placement course and 13 Honors courses.
The BLHS Class of 2024 has received more than $1,813,950.00 in scholarships and includes four Palmetto Fellows recipients. More than 50 graduates plan on attending a college,
university or technical school with five of those grads also having signed to play collegiate sports. The Class of 2024 also includes one Michelin Technical Scholar and four individuals who have enlisted to serve in the military.
