Make plans now to join us this Friday evening (January 17th) in the gorgeous new B-L High School gym as we host the first ever Heritage Hoops event! The fun will take place around 6 pm during the B-L / Ninety Six games when we recognize some very special guests including:
--Gary Phillips: started coaching basketball at B-L in 1964
--Larry Brigham: shot the last shot in 1975 at the Stone Gym still located at the Lifelong Learning Center
--Jessica Barr-Dennis: leading scorer from 1980s
--Sharon Baston: leading scorer from 1990s
--Laquantis Stewart: leading scorer from 2000s
--Mylaysia Gates: leading scorer from 2010s
--Chamajd Hyland: leading scorer from 2020s
We’re also recognizing the Lexington County Recreation Commission’s basketball players and coaches.
General admission is $6 at the door. (High school students get in free with their student ID. Basketball rec players get in free if they’re dressed in their uniform.)
The fun starts at 5 pm with the JV games and continues after our special recognitions with the Varsity games. Come support our Panthers of the past and present!
