Parents and guardians who wish to have their child enrolled in the Fall 2021 BOOST session that’s sponsored by Lexington County School District Three should go ahead and send in an application as soon as possible.

BOOST, which stands for Beginning Opportunities Offered for Student Transition, is a unique Lexington Three program that’s designed to engage families with 2- and 3-year olds in a Montessori learning environment.  Using Montessori materials, children participating in BOOST develop focus and concentration, improve motor skills and expand their cognitive development.  Parents, who attend the classes alongside their child, are able to develop new knowledge of the Montessori program (which is offered as a program choice at B-L Primary School for children in grades K4 through second), learn about early brain development and are introduced to the importance of language and literacy.  Ultimately, the goal of the program is to provide families with a positive school experience and kick-start children’s preparations for kindergarten.

Parents can choose between two different schedule options.  The Monday/Wednesday group will start on September 13th and will meet from 8:30 until 10:30 am for a total of eight weeks.  The Tuesday/Thursday group will begin on September 14th and will also meet from 8:30 until 10:30 am for a total of eight weeks.  The BOOST sessions are held at B-L Primary School.
