On Friday, December 10th, local Batesburg-Leesville children's author Anna Long visited Mrs. Newell's class at B-L Elementary School and made the announcement that those students, along with all of their fellow third grade friends, would be receiving a copy of her book "The Adventures of Romans and Blue."
The story is about B-L Elementary School student Romans Etheredge and his adventures after finding a dinosaur egg that eventually hatches.
The book donation was made possible by Mrs. Long, Romans' grandmother Janice Etheredge, Senator Katrina Shealy, Senator Shane Massey, and Representative Cal Forrest.
Students were very excited to receive their books!
