Enrollment Begins for Fall 2022 BOOST Session

Lexington County School District Three is thrilled to announce the return of its BOOST Program!

BOOST, which stands for Beginning Opportunities Offered for Student Transition, is a unique Lexington Three program that’s designed to engage families with 2- and 3-year olds in a Montessori learning environment.  Using Montessori materials, children participating in BOOST develop focus and concentration, improve motor skills and expand their cognitive development.  Parents, who attend the classes alongside their child, are able to develop new knowledge of the Montessori program (which is offered as a program choice at B-L Primary School for children in grades K4 through second), learn about early brain development and are introduced to the importance of language and literacy.  Ultimately, the goal of the program is to provide families with a positive school experience and kick-start children’s preparations for kindergarten.

The next BOOST session will be held in the Fall of 2022. Session details are listed below. Applications can be downloaded by clicking here.

Evening classes will be held on Mondays/Wednesdays and Tuesdays/Thursdays beginning on September 12th and ending on November 3rd (a total of eight weeks). Parents/children can arrive anytime between 4:45 pm and 5:00 pm. Each class lasts for two hours, allowing parents/children to leave between 6:45 pm and 7:00 pm (depending upon their arrival time).

Have questions about the program? Please contact Mrs. Charlene High, Lexington Three's Coordinator of Early Learning and Parenting Services, via email or phone.
