Students in Mrs. Fabrizio's class at B-L Primary School had a fun time reading "How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin?" as part of their spook-tacular lessons today. After the story, they each made predictions about the number of seeds inside of a large pumpkin that was in their classroom. Then, they scooped out the seeds and counted them in groups of ten to see whose guess was closest!

October is National Principals Month and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate the incredible leaders we have here in Lex3! Our principals go above and beyond each day to create a warm, inspiring, and supportive environment where both students and staff can thrive. They lead with passion, vision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Please join us in honoring these exceptional individuals who make our schools so special: 🌟 Mary Anne Tillman – Principal of B-L Primary School 🌟 Matt Velasquez – Principal of B-L Elementary School 🌟 Sharah Clark – Principal of B-L Middle School 🌟 Will McGinty – Principal of B-L High School. We are so grateful for their dedication to our Panther family! There truly isn’t a team anywhere that loves and uplifts their school communities quite like they do. Let’s give them the recognition they deserve this month!

Congratulations to these outstanding second-grade students at B-L Primary School for being chosen as Panther Ambassadors! This new program, which required students to apply, recognizes those who show exceptional leadership, kindness, and a commitment to helping others. As Panther Ambassadors, they will take on important roles around the school, including assisting with the newly-launched PAWS mail delivery system (Panthers Achieve Writing Success). They’ll also help lead school tours for guests and serve on the safety patrol, showcasing their pride and responsibility. We’re so proud of these young Panthers for this well-deserved honor!

Our B-L Primary School students put on a terrific musical performance last night in the Fine Arts Center as they "Rocked Around the '50s!" Their costumes and songs were spot on and they brought smiles to everyone who was in attendance. As an added bonus, parents got to see their artwork which was displayed in the front lobby of the Fine Arts Center. We love our Panthers!

The month of April is designated as "the month of the military child" so we've been showing some extra love this week to our B-L Primary School students who have parents who serve our country. These students have appeared on the school's morning news show and our staff wore purple on Monday, April 15th to show their support on "Purple Up Day." The color purple — known by the military community to symbolize all services united — is used during April to show support and thank military children, youth and teens for their strength and sacrifices. Pictured are just a few of the students we've recognized this week!

Another FANTASTIC and FUN enrichment week in Lexington Three is just about in the books! Our students have had the best time the past few days participating in a wide variety of camps including metal detecting camp, Lego camp, cooking with a good book camp, soccer camp, moving west camp and podcasting camp....just to name a few! Our enrichment weeks provide staff members with an opportunity to get to build even deeper relationships with our precious Panthers and expose them to a wide variety of extracurricular activities that they might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience. We also get the chance to help children who may need just a little bit of extra academic assistance. All in all, enrichment weeks are just one more way that we get to show some additional love to the children of the Batesburg-Leesville community. Visit our Facebook page for a ton of pics!
