Lexington County School District Three Mental Health Counselors work diligently to help build students’ capacity for academic success and positive social and emotional well-being as they prepare to become a part of our global society. Mental Health Counselors coordinate, facilitate, and implement mental health services to help support and foster a safe and successful learning environment for students.

Purpose:

To build students' capacity for academic success and positive social and emotional well-being. The Mental Health Counselor will provide emotional support and foster a safe and successful learning environment for students.

Direction:

The direction of Lexington County School District Three's Mental Health Services division is to provide a comprehensive mental health counseling program that is easily accessible for students and families. Mental Health Services fosters resilience within our students and helps them achieve educational success and overall well being.

  • All Mental Health Counselors employed by Lexington School District Three are guided by the ethical and legal standards set by the State of South Carolina and their respective professional disciplines.

Referrals:

All student referrals for Mental Health Services should go through the guidance department of the child's school where they are enrolled.
